Daily Rule of 3 : Vitamin D/Water and Nature Therapy

There are a lot of lifestyle gurus out there.  The reality is you know you best, and quite honestly most of us are acutely aware when we are doing something that is maybe not the best for our well being.

A couple shares if you follow my blog:  This is my basic daily rule of 3

  1. Extra vitamin D helps me in the winter months- I live in the Northern Hemisphere and we do not get the sun exposure in the winter.
  2. If you want to enjoy the outdoors more- fury friends can help with that.  Dogs are great.  Just make sure a dog fits into all aspects of your life- they are like people and grow very attached to their tribe.
  3. Water- drinking it, listening to it, being near it.  All things water!    When I spent a significant amount of time in the hospital – listening to the ocean waves both calmed and brought heart rate down, in the ICU.   There is something about water that is magical.  (That is when you’re on the good side of it, I have been in mother natures wrath of angry water as well- it is unforgiving.)

PS the snow has come and at-20 temps, I think it is here to stay for a while. This is a beach close to Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia on March 1st, 2023.
