Happy Monday- here in Nova Scotia the sun is shining and summer is in full swing. I went for my swim last night at a local spot and it was great to see families with their little ones out in the water until dusk- laughing and having fun.
Last week I was on a Zoom conference with Diabetes Canada and a reminder was broadcast about the great resources available from the Federal Government regarding tax credit availability, for those living with Diabetes. The (DTC) Disability Tax Credit is a non-refundable tax credit that helps persons with disabilities or their supporting persons reduce the amount of income tax they may have to pay. This puts money back in your pocket to help offset medical costs. To better understand if you may qualify under the category of LST – Life Sustaining Therapy – I have attached a link below.
Have a terrific day, and if you have any questions please feel free to visit http://www.liveblueconsulting.ca and send me a message, or if you prefer live chat- give me a call at 902-440-1974. If I don’t know the answer I will try to navigate it for you. All decisions for tax credit approval are of course rendered by the appropriate federal department.
PS- The header picture is Rainbow Haven Beach this morning. The Ocean is a 40 minute drive for me – so I treat myself while the weather is great. A salt water swim was a great way to start my Monday.
